# How to safely delete My Wallet?

If you want to delete **My Wallet** app, it's important to do so correctly. Simply deleting the app does not guarantee complete data removal.

After you delete **My Wallet**, encrypted data may remain on your device. If the device falls into the wrong hands, and you've used a weak password, your funds could be at risk.
