How to create an offline, air-gapped wallet in My Wallet for cold storage, generating and storing keys locally without an internet connection.
Since My Wallet 4.10, you can create a new wallet without connecting to the internet, for a real air-gapped cold-storage setup.
The entire process happens on your device: your keys are generated and stored locally, and the wallet stays offline and fully isolated from the internet and any wireless networks until you choose to connect it.

Turn off your device's internet connection (airplane mode, with Wi-Fi and mobile data off) before generating the wallet.
Complete the wallet creation. Your seed phrase and keys are generated and stored on your device only.

You can use this wallet for long-term, cold storage of assets. Any funds sent to it will arrive as usual on-chain; the balance updates once My Wallet goes online again.
Your recovery phrase is generated and stored securely on your device, but always back it up and never share it with anyone.
