# What if I sent funds to a wrong address?

If you sent funds to a scammer's address or an incorrect one, unfortunately, they **cannot be refunded**.

A return is only possible if you have contact with the recipient or access to their wallet.

**Transactions from decentralized wallets cannot be reversed**. Additionally, blockchain transactions cannot be altered or undone—this is one of the fundamental aspects of cryptocurrencies.
